Job Description

THIS OPPORTUNITY:

Egis BLN USA, Inc. is seeking applicants for a Central/Southern Indiana Construction Engineering & Inspection (CEI) Practice Leader position. The primary duties of this position will include development and management of all CEI activities throughout Central and Southern Indiana and management/administration of INDOT or Local Public Agency (LPA) road and bridge construction projects.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leadership of CEI team and management of all Central and Southern Indiana CEI activities.

Management and administration of INDOT and/or LPA road and bridge construction projects.

Coordination and facilitation of project meetings with team members and various project stakeholders.

Recruitment and mentoring of CEI staff throughout assigned area.

Daily oversight of Central/Southern Indiana CEI team, including assigning tasks, reviewing work product, and generating performance appraisals.

Resolution of complex technical and/or contractual project-related issues.

Assisting State and Regional CEI Practice Leaders with identifying and pursuing CEI opportunities.

Assisting State and Regional CEI Practice Leaders with implementation of client development and marketing strategies among existing and prospective clients.

Developing and monitoring project budgets, including regular reporting to State and Regional CEI Practice Leaders

Monitoring subconsultant progress and performance, including review and approval of vendor invoices.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

B.S. in civil engineering or related field

Indiana P.E. license preferred but not required.

8+ years of INDOT and/or LPA construction project management experience.

Experience leading a team of construction inspection and administrative personnel.

Experience with business development activities, including client engagement, proposal development, and strategic planning.

Proficient in use of Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Proficient in use of SiteManager and AASHTOWare Project software platforms.

Familiar with INDOT and/or LPA project administration and documentation requirements.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Highly organized, motivated and self-starting, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Must have a valid driver's license with good driving record.
