Senior Consultant – Outsourced Bookkeeping Solutions (OBS)Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Senior Consultant to join our rapidly growing Outsourced Bookkeeping Solutions (OBS) team. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in building and shaping a newly established service line within a high-performing BPO practice.

As a Senior Consultant, you will work directly with clients across a wide range of industries, helping to streamline financial operations, elevate reporting, and drive business insights. You will also have the opportunity to influence the structure, processes, and future direction of the OBS team, making a meaningful impact from day one.

This role offers a blend of client service, team leadership, and process innovation, along with the flexibility to contribute across our broader Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) practice.

Key ResponsibilitiesClient Delivery & Execution
  • Partner directly with clients of varying sizes and industries to execute a seamless and accurate month-end close process and perform day-to-day activities such as process payroll, oversee accounts payable, and process client billings
  • Provide ongoing accounting support throughout the month, addressing client needs in a proactive and responsive manner
  • Prepare and deliver monthly reporting packages and other requested supporting documentation
  • Potential to develop and maintain cash flows, budgets, and forecasts to support client decision-making
Process Development & Innovation
  • Design, build, and continuously improve month-end close processes and workflows
  • Document key accounting processes, policies, and internal controls
  • Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, scalability, and consistency across the OBS service line
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of our growing OBS offering
Project Management & Analytics
  • Manage and execute project-based work, including both qualitative and quantitative analyses aimed at improving profitability and operational performance
  • Oversee project timelines, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met on schedule
  • Proactively identify and resolve challenges using a logical, data-driven approach
  • Provide consistent updates and insights to both internal teams and clients
Team Leadership & Development
  • Oversee and support dedicated OBS team members, including training, coaching, and day-to-day guidance
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment
  • Provide real-time feedback to team members to promote continuous development and quality improvement
Quality & Communication
  • Maintain a strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy, consistency, and high-quality deliverables
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders, providing clear and timely updates
  • Build strong client relationships through reliability, responsiveness, and value-added insights

  • Experience with cloud-based accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, etc.) preferred
