The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced New Jersey Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) to join our team as a Senior Program Manager. This is a senior leadership role for someone who enjoys combining technical excellence with mentoring, client engagement, and business development.
You’ll lead high-impact remediation programs, support litigation and expert services, help grow our SI amp;R practice, and play a key role in shaping the future of our environmental services group.
What You’ll Do

Lead amp; Deliver
Serve as technical and program lead for complex site investigation and remediation projects in New Jersey and select out-of-state locations.
Oversee all project phases to ensure regulatory compliance, quality deliverables, client satisfaction, and financial performance.
Develop and evaluate remedial strategies, including in-situ chemical oxidation, enhanced bioremediation/bioaugmentation, and conventional technologies.
Provide senior-level technical review of work plans, reports, and deliverables.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, regulators, and legal counsel.
Support litigation support and expert witness engagements, as needed.
Grow the Practice
Help manage and expand the Site Investigation amp; Remediation practice in New Jersey.
Identify, pursue, and win new work with private, public, and government clients.
Leverage existing client relationships to expand service offerings.
Contribute to marketing strategy, proposals, and external business development efforts.
Represent First Environment through professional organizations, conferences, and industry events.
Build the Team
Mentor, develop, and motivate technical and project management staff.
Provide guidance on project execution, professional development, and career growth.
Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.
What We’re Looking For
Required
New Jersey Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) (active license).
Minimum 10 years of experience in environmental consulting, including project management and direct client interaction.
Extensive experience with subsurface investigations and remediation involving soil, groundwater, and vapor intrusion.
Experience conducting environmental due diligence in accordance with ASTM E1527-21 (Phase I ESAs).
Ability to successfully complete a federal government background investigation.
Preferred
Advanced degree in environmental engineering, environmental science, geology, hydrogeology, or a related field.
Experience working with private, industrial, and government-sector clients.
Demonstrated ability to develop creative, effective solutions to complex environmental challenges.
