Our work depends on a ServiceNow Developer Senior joining our team to support integration and development improvements to our ServiceNow platform, including broadening its impact through module expansion, platform integration, and automation. The ServiceNow Developer Senior will be an important part of the configuration, development, support, and maintenance of our ServiceNow implementation; they will also work with external development partners and key stakeholders to develop enterprise business solutions for our customers that leverage ITIL processes and best practices.

HOW A SERVICENOW DEVELOPER SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Design, configure, and advance core ITSM workflows, state models, assignment rules, and user interfaces to drive operational maturity and reduce resolution times
  • Implement advanced automation and orchestration utilizing Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Script Includes
  • Maintain and customize Service Catalog items, record producers, and the Service Portal to maximize self-service adoption
  • Maintain configuration item (CI) class structures, relationship mappings, and data reconciliation rules aligned with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve CI data accuracy, identification and reconciliation engine (IRE) rules, and transform map issues from automated data imports
  • Design and build upgrade-safe custom applications using ServiceNow Studio and Application Engine, enforcing proper application scoping and access controls
  • Design, build, and troubleshoot inbound/outbound REST and SOAP web service APIs, IntegrationHub spokes, and MID Server configurations to connect third-party platforms
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Process Managers, and cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to groom user stories and translate business needs into technical designs
  • Partners with technical stakeholders, architects, and product owners to shape solution design and platform governance
  • Reliably estimates relative work effort for various requests for self/team to enable prioritization
  • Support platform upgrade cycles, instance cloning, and Automated Test Framework (ATF) execution
  • Proactively stays on top of new capabilities in the platform
  • Handles other duties as assigned


WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree

Required Technical Skills and Abilities:

  • Deep functional and technical command of Incident, Change, and Problem modules
  • Demonstrated experience with CMDB architecture and scoped app development
  • Proficiency with JavaScript, Glide APIs, HTML/CSS, JSON, XML, and REST/SOAP
  • Experience with IntegrationHub and MID Server administration
  • Solid understanding of ITIL processes
  • Strong understanding of SDLC best practices and experience gathering requirements within an Agile/Scrum framework
  • Strong complex problemsolving skills, both individually and in team settings
  • Clear, authoritative communication and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven ability to contribute to proposals, technical documentation, and solution design
  • Proficiency in leading Scrum demos, agile ceremonies, and collaborative work groups

The likely salary range for this position is $106,250 - $143,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Paid leave and paid holidays are prorated based on the employee's date of hire.
