About the Role:

The Controller plays a critical leadership role in overseeing the financial operations and reporting of the organization to ensure accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial management. This position is responsible for managing accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and financial statement preparation. The Controller collaborates closely with executive leadership to provide insightful financial analysis and support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning. Ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls is a key aspect of this role, safeguarding the organization's financial integrity. Ultimately, the Controller drives financial efficiency and transparency, enabling informed decision-making that supports the company’s growth and sustainability.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management roles.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience managing a team and overseeing accounting operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation.
