Senior Mechanical Engineer

Location: - Oshkosh area (Onsite)

Compensation: $105K-$125K

Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead new product development and continuous improvement initiatives for complex electro-mechanical systems. This position plays a critical role in designing and validating product components, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior engineers. You will contribute to launching next-generation products and improving existing ones for manufacturability, cost, and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Design mechanical and electro-mechanical systems using 3D CAD (Creo)
  • Develop sheet metal, plastic injection molded, die cast, and machined parts
  • Create and manage bills of materials and technical documentation
  • Validate designs for cost, performance, reliability, and manufacturability
  • Support prototyping, pilot builds, and production launches
  • Collaborate with electrical, controls, manufacturing, and quality teams
  • Lead and manage small to medium engineering projects
  • Provide technical mentorship and support to junior engineers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in product design or development

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including automation
  • Experience with sheet metal, plastic, and electromechanical components
