Brief Role Description
This position is Career Level 29P and located in Reston, VA, with a Role Classification of Hybrid.
Role Summary
The AI Product Manager will drive adoption and usability of AI solutions across business teams and serve as the delivery lead for a defined set of priority AI initiatives to execute product delivery, obtain stakeholder alignment, and deliver measurable business outcomes. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated technical fluency in AI/ML systems, including ability to evaluate model trade-offs, define technical requirements, and partner closely with data science and engineering teams to roll out AI solutions at an enterprise scale. To be effective in this position it will be critical to have deep expertise in data, analytics, and AI solutions as well as exceptional communication skills.
Responsibilities within this Role
  • AI product execution and delivery (50%)
  • AI product roadmap planning and execution (30%)
  • AI product rollout and adoption (20%)

Responsibilities will include:
• Act as the day-to day execution lead for 1-2 priority AI products, accountable for end-to-end delivery, cross-functional execution, and ultimate product success against defined business objectives
• Assist in the definition, design and delivery of AI solutions working with product owners, and BU SME's
• Directly work with key Business Stakeholder to investigate, identify, collaborate, and ensure the delivery of AI solutions for business units and customers.
• Document and enter Epics, Features and stories in Jira, managing backlog prioritization and acceptance criteria for assigned AI products
• Collaborate with data engineering and Data Science to implement robust and scalable MLOps pipelines
• Collect and analyze data to determine product direction and work with BU product owners/ SME's to identify potential solutions, which informs the product roadmap
• Collaborate with other Product Owners to ensure programs and processes across the entire system are aligned and prioritized
• Create product training and documentation materials in support of the implementation and launch of AI Products
• Identify delivery constraints, resolve cross-functional dependencies, and propose pragmatic solutions to improve product outcomes
• Support communication, presentations, training, and documentation to enable successful user adoption
Qualification requirements
Years of Revlevant Experience:
10+ years of hands-on experience delivering data-driven and AI-enabled products with a demonstrated ability of translating business challenges into clear, actionable product requirements and delivery plans.
4+ years in product management/ownership building and delivering successful AI/ML products and capabilities
4+ years of experience working with Data Scientists to deliver AI solutions
Required Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Computer Science, or Engineering

Desired Education:
  • Master's degree in Entrepreneurship, Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or Engineering

General Skills:
  • Deep understanding of business rollout and product delivery of scaled Data Science and AI solutions
  • Passion for identifying and solving real consumer and business problems, and proven ability to deliver to market
  • A bias to action and a proven track record of delivering solutions within a matrixed organization
  • Ability to analyze and explain complex business processes and technical solutions
  • Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities with the ability to motivate others to lead cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work effectively with direct teams and matrixed partner teams as well as collaboration across brands and organizational business units.

Skills Required:
  • Proven ability to translate complex AI capabilities and constraints into clear product strategy, stakeholder communication, and measurable business outcomes
  • Deep understanding of business rollout and product delivery of scaled Data Science and AI solutions integrated into operational business processes (e.g., decisioning systems, customer workflows, pricing, or automation)
  • Experience defining and operationalizing AI product metrics and evaluation frameworks, including experimentation, model performance measurement, and continuous improvement of data-driven systems.
  • Proficient in SQL to efficiently query large datasets and perform foundational data analysis
  • Excellent communicator and can articulate product vision, roadmap execution, and delivery progress with a focus on solving business problems.
  • Highly collaborative, able to build trust and strong relationships at all levels, influence without formal authority, push back when appropriate, earn respect, and respect the contributions of others
  • Ability to frame ambiguous business problems and define structured, data-driven solutions

Desired Skills:
  • Experience in financial services
  • Experience working with Python and data analysis environments (e.g., Jupyter)
  • Experience with cloud-based ML platforms (e.g., AWS SageMaker)
