Job Description:


The Senior Associate, Contracts is an early-career professional contributing to contract administration activities. Working under direct supervision, this role assists with the preparation, review, and administration of contracts for various programs and projects. The Level 2 Specialist supports compliance with regulatory and company requirements, communicates with internal stakeholders, and helps achieve operational goals.

Essential Functions:

Contract Administration
Assist with the preparation, administration, and closeout of basic contracts and proposals. Support the development of proposals, review contract terms for accuracy, and track contract performance requirements. Work with internal teams to gather information and ensure accurate contract documentation.

Contract Monitoring
Support the monitoring of contract progress by coordinating with business units to track deliverables and deadlines. Ensure contract files are complete and in compliance with standard company procedures and applicable regulations for Federal and Defense contracts.

Reporting
Prepare routine internal reports for management and assist with compiling information for reports to customers as required.

Policy & Process Support
Support adherence to policies, procedures, and practices related to contract administration. Suggest process improvements to increase efficiency or compliance as observed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related contracts experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related contracts experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related contracts experience.

Additional Skills:

  • Understanding of cost and fixed price contract types, requirements, and principles.
  • Experience working on Department of War production and research & development contracts.
  • Assist with contract administration in compliance with company policies and government regulations.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with colleagues, leadership, and customers.
  • Experience supporting responses to requests for proposals and assisting with contract documentation.
  • Experience working with various computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Learn and apply FAR/DFAR contract requirements under supervision.
