Position Overview
The Senior Engineer / Assistant Project Manager will play a critical role in supporting project leadership with planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale construction projects. This individual will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Support overall project administration from preconstruction through closeout
Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and document control processes
Assist with budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting
Coordinate with field teams to ensure alignment between schedule and project milestones
Participate in subcontractor procurement, scope reviews, and buyout processes
Help maintain and update project schedules
Lead coordination meetings with trade partners and stakeholders as needed
Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control requirements
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, design teams, and trade partners
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
3-5+ years of experience in construction (data center project experience preferred)
Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, and cost management
