About the RoleResponsible for selling Canon's hardware and software technology-based solutions to printers, graphic houses, and fulfillment companies within an assigned account list.   This role requires you to live within a reasonable commuting distance to Walnut Creek, CA so that you can adequately execute your job responsibilities.Your Impact- Develop and execute strategies to penetrate assigned accounts and identify key decision makers. - Drive new business opportunities and place Canon equipment, software, and solutions in new and existing accounts. - Identify customer requirements, competitive activity, and market trends, and communicate findings to management. - Develop territory and account plans that address both short- and long-term customer needs. - Provide ongoing marketing, technical, and administrative support to ensure strong customer relationships and satisfaction. - Position Canon production print technology, services, software, and third-party solutions to meet customer requirements. - Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to support long-term partnerships and account growth. - Generate new market share through strategic prospecting and effective use of available resources. About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring- 5+ years of commercial print - Direct experience selling into commercial printers, CRDs, in-plants, or graphic arts environments - Strong understanding of production print workflows (prepress, color, finishing, production output) - Experience with production devices (mono/color, sheetfed and/or roll-fed) - Proven success managing complex, high-value sales cycles Preferred Experience - HP Indigo, Xerox Production, Ricoh Production, Heidelberg, Kodak, Fujifilm, Screen, Agfa - Workflow tools such as Fiery, PRISMA, FreeFlow, or Prinergy - Experience with $5M+ print environments or large fleet placements - Background in consultative / solution-based selling in production print Additional Requirements - Strong communication and relationship-building skills - Ability to work independently in a field-based territory role - Proficiency with Salesforce (SFDC) and Microsoft Office - Ability to travel within assigned territory (occasional overnight travel required) - Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record We are providing the anticipated base salary range for this role: $60,000 - $81,550 annually. This role is eligible for incentive compensation under the terms of an applicable plan and/or policy. Incentive compensation earnings vary by quota assigned, at 100% of plan, the anticipated incentive compensation for this role is $76,582 annually.
