Job Description

The Senior Analyst, Applications will manage the user experience across several operations-focused applications, both cloud-based SaaS environments and on-premise systems. They are responsible for the day-to-day activities, change management, user onboarding and offboarding, minor modifications, and routine updates for these applications. As an applications analyst, you will be tasked with providing reports and dashboards to Fleet Directors, collaborating with Engineering and Operations personnel, coordinating Teams channel activities between stakeholders, provide training for applications spanning fleet vehicle and asset tracking tools, EHSQ systems, and additional programs in development.

Responsibilities

  • Run periodic reports following established procedures for pulling data from various applications and create data visualizations through PowerBI
  • Develop and provide monthly updates to leadership on the current progress and plan for the application programs
  • Work alongside fleet personnel and Information Technology/Technology Solutions Group to gather feedback on application usage and user experience
  • Be Operations Support point of contact for collaboration between fleet personnel and Information Technology/Technology Solutions Group
  • Propose, test, and implement changes to web and mobile applications using feedback gathered from various user groups
  • Ensure adherence to proper QA, UAT and regression testing for any business application enhancements
  • Develop and provide weekly status reports on system health and develop business applications metrics
  • Partner with other functional IT groups across the organization to ensure alignment of application roadmaps and to facilitate change management process
  • Facilitate and communicate periodic changes to stakeholders and application user base, ensure the proper testing and change management documentation of those changes
  • Develop and maintain a common repository of systems documents, SOPs, and user training documentation

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • At least one year of experience in management of an application environment
  • Experience with advanced Excel data manipulation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities to meet the needs of a growing fleet of renewable and clean energy projects
  • Travel up to 20% to deliver training, assist with fleet management system device installations, or attend training related to supported applications
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc)
  • Experience with data analytics and data visualization tools, such as PowerBI, Tableau, etc
  • Experience with enterprise mobile applications is a plus
  • Previous experience writing reports and developing KPIs is a plus

Base Pay

$34.32 - $39.49 USD Hourly
Bonus: 0% - 15%

The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.
