Sr. Application Developer

Talent Space, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Application Developer for a contract to hire opportunity in Dallas, TX! The Senior Application Developer is responsible for designing and developing technology solutions that meet business needs. In this role you will be part of a dynamic, collaborative team focused on full lifecycle development, from concept through deployment and ongoing enhancements. The Sr. Application Developer will:

  • Design and develop complex, enterprise-scale applications, delivering high-quality, maintainable code.
  • Leverage modern technologies, tools, and frameworks to build innovative solutions
  • Apply established development best practices to ensure applications are stable, secure, and highly available
  • Troubleshoot and resolve high-impact issues with a calm, methodical approach
  • Collaborate closely with business partners and cross-functional teams to deliver high-value solutions
  • Design, implement, configure, maintain, and support application and infrastructure components.
  • Model behaviors aligned with the organization's culture and core values.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or 3+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently
  • Solid understanding of software design patterns and unit testing practices
  • Experience with modern web development technologies, JavaScript, TypeScript, React
  • Backend development and API experience, preferably with Go and NOSQL databases (Mongo)
  • Proficiency in scripting languages, Python and Bash
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, with a focus on AWS
  • Experience building or supporting scalable, containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
