A well-established Data Center and Building Automation contractor is seeking a skilledBAS Application Engineer (Mid & Senior Level) in Boston, MA.This position focuses on programming, integrating, and commissioning Building Automation Systems for mission-criticaland commercial facilities. Responsibilities:
  • Develop, program, and optimize BAS controllers and system sequences.
  • Prepare BMS submittals, as-built documentation, graphics, and control drawings.
  • Configure system integration using BACnet, Modbus, TCP/IP, and related protocols.
  • Provide remote technical support to project managers and field engineering teams.
  • Commission control programs, verify logic, and validate system performance.
  • Apply standardized engineering practices and programming guidelines.
  • Coordinate automation efforts with HVAC, MEP, IT, and project teams.
  • Troubleshoot BAS servers, field networks, controllers, and IoT-connected devices.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience as a BAS Application Engineer, Controls Technician, Programmer, or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in BAS programming, integration, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with multiple BAS platforms; Tridium Niagara experience is a strong plus.
