Position Summary

Groundswell is looking for experienced Senior Appian Consultants to provide integrated architecture support for our delivery teams and act as a trusted advisor to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead implementation teams through complex technical solutions with Appian and tangential technologies.
  • Support design, development, and test activities.
  • Guide clients on architecture design, configuration management, DevSecOps, and other program initiatives as needed to drive technical success.
  • Ensure solutions are built for scale and performance.
  • Create and document implementation best practices and knowledge base articles for internal enablement.
  • Provide thought leadership on process improvement.
  • Support internal solutions, infrastructure, and tools.
  • Mentor, train, and enable resources.
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience with Appian solutions.
  • 5+ years of related IT experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related area.
  • Active Appian Senior or Lead Certification.
  • Strong experience with Appian delivery using an Agile methodology.
  • Strong technical design, implementation, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts easily, both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a high‑paced environment.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance with Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph. Preference for candidates with an active TS clearance.
  • Must be local to the DC Metro area and able to report to SCIF location.
