Job Description:

Quevera is seeking a highly skilled Senior Front-End Software Engineer (Angular) with an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph to support mission-critical programs inLinthicum, Maryland. In this role, you will lead the development, enhancement, and modernization of enterprise web applications using Angular and TypeScript, supporting critical mission systems within a secure government environment.

Working alongside a collaborative team of software engineers, you'll enhance an existing enterprise application by developing new user interface features, modernizing legacy Angular frameworks, integrating front-end components with backend APIs, and resolving complex production issues. You'll collaborate closely with backend developers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing web applications that support critical national security missions.

As a Senior Front-End Software Engineer, you'll play a key role in driving front-end modernization efforts, improving user experience, supporting framework migrations, and delivering innovative software solutions that enhance mission success.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise web applications using Angular and TypeScript.
  • Support the modernization of legacy Angular applications by upgrading frameworks to newer supported versions.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to Angular framework upgrades, including breaking changes, dependency conflicts, theme compatibility, and UI rendering issues.
  • Develop responsive, reusable, and maintainable user interface components using Angular Material or similar UI component libraries.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve UI defects within complex enterprise applications.
  • Integrate front-end applications with backend RESTful APIs and enterprise data services.
  • Analyze backend API endpoints to understand data flow and troubleshoot integration issues between frontend and backend systems.
  • Collaborate with backend software engineers to ensure seamless communication between application layers.
  • Support application testing, validation, and quality assurance activities following framework upgrades and new feature development.
  • Participate in Agile software development activities including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and code reviews.
  • Maintain technical documentation and communicate development progress, risks, and blockers.
  • Follow secure software development practices, coding standards, and configuration management processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to improve application performance, accessibility, usability, and maintainability.
  • Evaluate emerging front-end technologies and development tools that support modernization initiatives.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
  • Eight (8) years of experience developing enterprise software applications or supporting programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
    • Four (4) additional years of software engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • Experience building, maintaining, and enhancing Angular applications within enterprise environments.
  • Experience troubleshooting and maintaining existing production Angular applications.
  • Experience upgrading legacy Angular applications to newer supported framework versions.
  • Experience identifying and resolving framework migration issues, including dependency conflicts, breaking changes, UI rendering issues, and theme compatibility.
  • Experience integrating front-end applications with backend RESTful APIs.
  • Ability to understand backend API endpoints and troubleshoot frontend-to-backend data flow issues.
  • Experience working within large enterprise software applications involving multiple development teams.
  • Experience using Git or other version control systems.
  • Knowledge of secure software development principles and best practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
