Job description

About the Role

We are looking for a results-driven FP&A Senior Analyst to help drive deep analytics and insights into the finances of Success Academy, providing leaders across the organization with actionable intelligence to support rapid growth and strategic decision-making. 

Reporting to the Head of FP&A, the FP&A Senior Analyst will be a key contributor to our budgeting and long-term financial modeling processes as we rapidly expand our operations. The FP&A Senior Analyst must have strong analytical capability, fluency in modeling, and demonstrated ability to draw key themes and actionable information out of large, sometimes disparate datasets.  This role will have exposure to all levels and functions of the organization, including senior management, meaning the ideal candidate will possess the ability to communicate with clarity and precision.

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Strategic Financial Planning & Forecasting: Establishing standard methodologies for short, medium, and long-term forecasts.
  • Performance Analysis & Insight: Analyzing monthly financial results and interpreting performance to provide management with concise information on company performance.
  • Collaborative Planning: Acting as a catalyst for the annual operating planning and budgeting processes.
  • Risk & Scenario Modeling: Developing financial impact models and sensitivity analyses for various business scenarios.
  • Operational Budget Management: Handling budget preparation, templating, and consolidation.'

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years of relevant financial planning & analysis experience
  • Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build and work in complex financial models
  • Solid understanding of financial statements 
  • Takes ownership of accuracy and timeliness of deliverables
  • Highly detail-oriented, while also balancing the big picture view
  • Adapts quickly to changes and able to multitask with competing priorities
  • Excellent communication skills, able to clearly and accurately convey messages to various audiences across the organization
  • Has a desire to work in a fast-paced environment and thrives on an ongoing feedback culture
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets and Slides
