The Opportunity

This is a high-impact role designed for someone looking to transition from consulting into an operating environment where strategy directly drives outcomes.

As Manager, Strategy & Corporate Development, you will report to the Director, Strategy & Corporate Development and work closely with the C-suite and department heads across the business. You will be at the center of the companyโ€™s most important prioritiesโ€”shaping strategy, evaluating growth opportunities, and driving key initiatives forward. We are looking for a total of 2-4 years of recent job experience in a consulting role.

This role offers direct exposure to executive decision-making and the opportunity to see your work implemented in real time, alongside leaders in the Strategy & Corporate Development Department who are former Bain consultants.

This is a five-day, in-office role based in Houston, built for close collaboration and speed of execution.

What Youโ€™ll Do

Corporate Strategy

  • Support the development and execution of enterprise-wide strategic priorities
  • Structure and solve complex business problems, translating insights into actionable recommendations
  • Partner with senior leadership to inform key decisions and long-term planning

Project Leadership

  • Lead high-priority, cross-functional initiatives from scoping through execution
  • Drive alignment across stakeholders and maintain momentum on critical workstreams
  • Deliver clear recommendations and support implementation to ensure results

M&A & Business Expansion

  • Evaluate acquisitions, partnerships, and new market opportunities
  • Conduct market research, commercial diligence, and financial analysis
  • Build executive-level materials and support integration planning

Executive Engagement

  • Work directly with the C-suite and department leaders on strategic and time-sensitive initiatives
  • Serve as a thought partner on both strategic and operational topics

Requirements

What Weโ€™re Looking For

  • 2-4 years of total professional experience
  • Experience at a top-tier consulting firm strongly preferred, particularly McKinsey, Bain, or BCG; other consulting backgrounds considered
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree from a four-year accredited institution required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to structure complex, ambiguous issues
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and operate independently
  • Clear communicator with strong executive presence
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive outcomes
