Job description

Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable broadband connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From households to small businesses, schools, hospitals, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve communities and organizations operating in places without dependable internet access.
Overall, the Leo Inventory & Fulfillment Technology (LIFT) team is responsible for the supply chain technology for Customer Terminals (CT) and Accessories in partnership with Leo, Retail, and Devices teams

Leo's supply chain has unique complexities including unique integrations, distribution channels, and new field partners. Within LIFT, the Inventory Intelligence & Optimization function ensures optimal inventory levels and availability across the global network through strategic planning, configuration management, and rebalancing initiatives.
We are seeking a Senior In-Stock Manager to own end-to-end inventory planning, allocation, and optimization for Leo devices and accessories globally. This leader will be responsible for onboarding and configuration of new programs, inventory distribution across channels, and maintaining high in-stock rates while minimizing holding costs

A successful candidate will be a data-driven operator who thrives in ambiguity, can balance competing priorities across multiple channels and geographies, and builds scalable processes from the ground up. They will demonstrate strong analytical skills, supply chain acumen, and the ability to influence cross-functional partners without direct authority.
Key job responsibilities
Own configurations of Leo transactional data across Procurement systems to ensure costs flow accurately through Leo entities.
Strategically distribute and rebalance freshlot, repair, and rental inventory for all channels and customer segments globally to minimize stockouts and optimize utilization. Set target inventory levels, manage allocations during constraints, and adjust strategies for demand variations

Review system output of transportation modes on Purchase Orders and override for faster or slower modes where exceptions are needed based on known customer or supply chain impacts
Partner with Leo Demand Planning, Lab126, DGL, and Device Service Organization on demand and supply initiatives. Understand upstream impacts of manufacturing constraints or issues. Partner with Inventory Science & Allocation Product on building or integrating with the right tools.
Support automation efforts for Procure-to-Pay activities to reduce manual effort

Drive continuous improvement in operational processes.
Manage ad hoc sales requirements from business teams to support initiatives for early access, betas, and partner teams.
Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S

as a refugee or granted asylum
About the team
We are responsible for program-level governance, launch readiness, cross-functional coordination, and executive reporting that enables Leo leadership to make informed decisions. Our team bridges the gap between product capabilities, technical delivery, and operational execution, ensuring that all workstreams are aligned and progressing toward shared milestones.
We work at the intersection of strategy and execution. We are establishing the frameworks, reviews, and escalation mechanisms that keep LIFT's complex, multi-domain programs on track

We are building this function from the ground up, which means you will have the opportunity to define processes, set standards, and shape how program management operates within LIFT.
