Job description

SICAMโ€™s Technical Sales should have a self-starter attitude and high energy to increase the visibility, growth, sales, and goals of the overall company. They should be passionate and enthusiastic about the 3D printing/Additive Manufacturing industry and convey that excitement through any communication or interactions with internal or external customers and potential leads.ย 

ย ย RESPONSIBILITIESย 

Responsibilities, skills, and knowledge may be representative, but not all-inclusive of those commonly associated with the position.ย 

  • Utilize Resources to maintain up-to-date and extensive knowledge of all SICAM services and technologies.ย ย 

  • Collaborate with team to manage and call on targeted account lists and participate in the innovation of new techniques and strategies for securing new accounts.ย 

  • Proactively and regularly re-connect with account contacts- track, utilize, and maintain all data in our corporate CRM database.ย 

  • Establish and maintain relationships throughout the companies with other engineers, purchasers, etc. through communication and rapport with contacts.ย 

  • Build relationships with prospects and potential customers to understand and identify how they can integrate 3D printing into their workflow or areas of business.ย 

  • Collaborate with all Sales & Marketing team members to prioritize prospecting efforts and accounts to target.ย 

  • Achieve monthly pipeline activity metrics (calls, emails) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs โ€“ Quotes & Orders) goals set by sales management.ย 

  • Overcome objections and effectively communicate value propositions, appropriate products, and service offerings.ย 

  • Utilize all communication methods available to achieve activity metrics.ย 

  • Communicate and present sales offerings to customers and their team members through various methods such as in-person, presentation, online group calls, or sending a sample.ย 

  • Attend events or meetings in-person or virtual sales demonstrations, trade shows, or other events.ย
