Hours

           4 p.m.- 8 p.m. Every Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. Every Saturday, 8:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m

Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Activities Assistant to join our team! The Activities Assistant is responsible for assisting the Activities Director with a program of activities at the community. The Activities Assistant has the ability to communicate effectively and advocate for Elder centered/directed care to team members, families, physicians, allied health professionals, and the at large community.


Responsibilities:

  • The Senior Living Activities Assistant participates in activities with residents of the community.
  • The Senior Living Activities Assistant maintains department activity logs and documentation.
  • The Senior Living Activities Assistant understands, practices, and communicates resident directed/centered care on a daily basis as it relates to the activities department.
  • The Senior Living Activities Assistant plans activities as directed by the supervisor.
  • The Senior Living Activities Assistant works with the resident and family councils.
  • The Senior Living Activities Assistant has the ability to direct and supervise volunteers.
  • The Senior Living Activities Assistant helps with Dietary if requested.

Qualifications:

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Must possess a valid drivers license, class E drivers license and have a good driving record.
