) Life Enrichment Assistant
The Orchards is currently seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to join our team to support the planning and implementation of engaging programs and activities for residents in our skilled nursing facility. This role is essential in promoting the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of our residents through meaningful interaction and daily enrichment.
Life Enrichment Assistant Responsibilities:
  • Assist in developing, organizing, and leading group and individual activities tailored to residents' interests and abilities
  • Encourage resident participation and provide companionship during programs
  • Help transport residents to and from activities
  • Document resident participation and provide feedback to the Life Enrichment Director
  • Support special events, outings, and holiday celebrations
  • Comply with all health, safety, and infection control policies

Life Enrichment Assistant Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a senior care, recreation, or customer service setting preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with older adults
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
