Job Title: Senior SAP Solutions Engineer (S/4HANA & Integration)
Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic, highly technical, and experienced Senior SAP Solutions Engineer to lead end-to-end SAP solution delivery across complex enterprise environments. In this role, you will oversee the design, configuration, development, and integration of core SAP applications-ensuring seamless alignment with business requirements, architectural standards, and cross-vendor project roadmaps.
This is a high-impact technical leadership role for a professional who combines deep functional and technical SAP expertise with strong multi-vendor governance capabilities. You will manage RICEFW development lifecycle deliverables, drive rigorous testing protocols, oversee security and GRC access models, and guide deployments from cutover through hypercare. Key Responsibilities
Solution Delivery & Architecture
• End-to-End Delivery: Collaborate on comprehensive SAP solution design, configuration, customization, and integration activities supporting complex enterprise workflows and customer service processes.
• Cross-Vendor Coordination: Oversee the work of internal teams, third-party vendors, and managed service providers to ensure timely delivery, configuration alignment, and seamless systems integration.
• RICEFW Management: Oversee the progress of custom RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows) deliverables, ensuring strict traceability and adherence to program requirements.
Integration & Technical Governance
• Integration Suites: Leverage SAP BTP Integration Suite, RESTful APIs, and enterprise middleware to connect SAP platforms with broader ecosystem applications and identity management systems.
• DevSecOps & Quality Assurance: Drive adherence to SAP-standard DevSecOps practices, including automated CI/CD pipelines, code scanning, static/dynamic security analysis, and unit test coverage.
• Testing Oversight: Guide unit, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression, and performance testing phases; ensure all test cases and results are meticulously tracked in tools such as Jira and qTest.
Security, Compliance & Deployment
• Security & GRC: Ensure SAP security roles, access models, and compliance requirements are rigorously designed, implemented, and tested per industry best practices.
• Monitoring & Support: Establish industry-standard SAP monitoring mechanisms covering error handling, system performance, and abnormal utilization patterns.
• Deployment & Knowledge Transfer: Manage deployment cutover and hyper-care activities, facilitating effective knowledge transfer and operational mentoring for internal and managed service teams.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
• Work Authorization: Currently authorized to work in the United States via citizenship or permanent residency (Green Card).
• Experience Baseline: Minimum of 7+ years of professional experience in SAP solution delivery, including hands-on design, configuration, development, and integration.
• Technical Mastery:
oProven implementation experience within complex, multi-vendor enterprise environments.
oStrong, current knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP Service Cloud, ABAP programming, and SAP BTP.
oDemonstrated expertise with integration technologies (SAP BTP Integration Suite, RESTful APIs, middleware platforms).
oSolid understanding of SAP security models, SAP GRC Access Control, and related compliance standards.
oFamiliarity with DevSecOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks in an SAP context.
• Core Competencies: Extensive experience with Agile project management and test management tools (Jira, qTest); exceptional communication, organizational, and cross-functional coordination skills.
Preferred Attributes
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Associate, SAP Certified Professional).
• Prior digital transformation experience within large-scale utility, energy, or highly regulated enterprise sectors.
• Knowledge of non-SAP product integrations (e.g., MuleSoft, enterprise IAM tools, API architectures).
• Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Business Data Cloud, and emerging AI-powered SAP tools.
