Join Intel as a Silicon Validation Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the functionality, performance, and reliability of Intel's cutting-edge silicon products and technologies. In this critical position, you will define and execute comprehensive validation strategies that directly impact product quality and Intel's ability to deliver world-class semiconductor solutions. Your expertise will drive innovation in validation methodologies, enable successful product launches, and contribute to Intel's leadership in the semiconductor industry. By collaborating with cross-functional teams and leveraging advanced tools and techniques, you will make a significant impact on the development and optimization of next-generation technologies that power computing across diverse applications from personal devices to data centers.
Key Responsibilities may include but not limited to :
Define, develop, and execute comprehensive functional validation plans and strategies for silicon products and integrated systems
Perform silicon debug to identify root causes of failures and resolve functional and triage issues across various design components
Collaborate with architecture, design, verification, and manufacturing teams to optimize validation processes and troubleshoot technical challenges
Develop and implement post-silicon validation infrastructure, including performance monitors, behavioral checkers, and test environments
Apply advanced hardware and software tools and techniques to ensure thorough validation coverage and meet performance goals
Test and validate interactions between various system features and components using validation infrastructure and methodologies
Publish detailed validation reports summarizing activities, results, and findings while communicating outcomes to relevant stakeholders
Develop and maintain validation methodologies, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and ensure comprehensive coverage
Conduct system-level testing and validation across various operating conditions to ensure product specifications are met

Annual Salary Range for jobs to be performed in Folsom, CA: $179,567 - $200,340 USD
This position requires work at the Intel site at least 4 days per week in accordance with company policy.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, &/or Computer Engineering, or Science, or other STEM-related degree and 5 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation; or Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, &/or Computer Engineering, or Science, or other STEM-related degree and 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
