Job Description:

Position Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our team as an Adjunct Faculty member in the Semiconductor Technology program. The ideal candidate will have expertise in semiconductor devices, fabrication processes, and relevant industry applications. This position involves teaching undergraduate courses in semiconductor technology, developing instructional materials, and fostering a positive learning environment to support student success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach assigned undergraduate courses in semiconductor technology, including but not limited to semiconductor device fundamentals, fabrication processes, cleanroom operations, and semiconductor materials.

  • Develop and deliver course materials, including lectures, labs, assignments, and assessments, in alignment with program outcomes and industry standards.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the semiconductor field and integrate current industry practices and technologies into the curriculum.

  • Provide academic advising and mentorship to students, promoting their educational and professional development.

  • Assess student performance through a variety of evaluation methods and provide timely, constructive feedback.

  • Collaborate with other faculty members and program coordinators to continuously improve course content and instructional methods.

  • Ensure compliance with college policies and procedures and maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation.

Minimum Education/Experience:

  • Bachelors in electronics, electrical engineering, mechanical, semiconductor technology, materials science, or other relevant disciplines.

  • Or an associate's degree with 5 years of industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry experience in semiconductor manufacturing, design, or testing.

  • Familiarity with semiconductor fabrication equipment, process integration, and device characterization.

  • Experience in developing online or hybrid course content.

  • Active membership in relevant professional organizations or certifications in semiconductor technology.
