About the Role

As a Product Quality Engineer (PQE), you will serve as the technical bridge between customers and internal engineering teams, ensuring product quality performance and customer satisfaction. Youโ€™ll lead quality investigations, drive rootโ€‘cause analysis, and champion continuous improvement across the entire product portfolio. In this role, youโ€™ll collaborate closely with design, manufacturing, reliability engineering, and customer support teamsโ€”owning product quality performance. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex technical problems, influencing crossโ€‘functional teams, and elevating product quality through dataโ€‘driven decisionโ€‘making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead customer complaint investigations using structured problemโ€‘solving methods (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa).
  • Coordinate crossโ€‘functional teams (product engineering, reliability, manufacturing, test) to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage failure analysis requests and communicate findings clearly and professionally.
  • Support customer audits, quality reviews, and qualification activities.
  • Monitor field return trends, reliability indicators, and customer quality metrics. Analyze test data, yield trends, and process indicators to proactively identify risks.
  • Prepare and deliver customerโ€‘facing quality reports and presentations.
  • Drive systemic improvements to reduce defects, improve robustness, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to strengthen process controls and test coverage.
  • Champion best practices in quality engineering and customer communication.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in electrical engineering, Materials Science.
  • Minimum 12 years' experience in semiconductor quality, product engineering, reliability, or manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor devices, wafer fabrication, assembly/test processes, and reliability mechanisms.
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools (JMP, Python, MATLAB, Excel) and statistical methods (SPC, DOE).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and nonโ€‘technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting automotive, industrial, or high reliability customers (AEC Q100, ISO 26262).
