Job description

Are you passionate about supporting innovation in the semiconductor industry? At Falcomm, we are transforming advanced semiconductor technologies into real-world solutions through high-performance, energy-efficient RF power amplifier products. Our mission is to deliver cutting-edge wireless solutions that push the boundaries of performance and efficiency.

Falcomm is seeking a Silicon Supply Chain Manager to oversee sourcing, supplier management, and procurement activities supporting our semiconductor development and production programs. This role will manage relationships with silicon foundries, OSAT partners, component suppliers, and manufacturing vendors to ensure reliable supply, cost efficiency, and production readiness.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop sourcing strategies by evaluating current and potential suppliers to ensure reliable partnerships, cost efficiency, and stable material supply amid evolving semiconductor market conditions.
  • Assess supplier manufacturing capabilities, quality systems, equipment, and production capacity to support new product development and long-term semiconductor production.
  • Drive improvements in supplier performance across quality, cost, delivery reliability, lead times, and overall supply chain efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and quality teams to support product development, resolve component issues, and ensure manufacturable design decisions.
  • Manage supplier relationships and procurement activities including, negotiations, purchase orders, and supplier performance tracking, while maintaining strong partnerships with foundries, packaging providers, and component vendors.

Requirements

  • Minimum qualifications include either:
    • A Bachelorโ€™s degree with five or more years of relevant experience in supply chain management, manufacturing operations, or engineering; or
    • A graduate degree with at least two years of related professional experience
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • Must be willing to work full-time, onsite, in Atlanta, GA.
Preferred Skills:
  • Procurement or strategic sourcing experience within the semiconductor industry, including custom silicon manufacturing and OSAT (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test) environments.
  • Strong understanding of the semiconductor supply chain, including foundries, OSAT providers, global sourcing dynamics, and market pricing trends.
  • Experience supporting the semiconductor product lifecycle, with demonstrated success working cross-functionally during product development and supplier qualification.
  • Proficiency with supplier sourcing and negotiations, ERP/MRP procurement systems, and strong communication and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.
