About this role

As Application Engineer, your mission is to support the integration and deployment of our products, Eureka Controller and Eureka 3D Camera, as well as the delivery and maintenance of our customized robotic systems.

You will cover a wide range of work including programming, testing, design, system integration, troubleshooting, maintenance of robotic systems.

Key responsibilities
  • Deploy Eureka products (Eureka Controller and Eureka 3D Camera) into production systems, in cooperation with System Integration partners
  • Deliver, ramp up, and handover customized robotic systems to end-customers
  • Perform partner/customer support, training, demo, troubleshooting, maintenance for Eureka products (Eureka Controller and Eureka 3D Camera) and customized robotic systems
  • Perform pre-sales activities (lab tests, proofs-of-concept, etc.)
  • Project management and maintaining a good relationship with partners/customers
Requirements

Minimum

  • 3+ years of hands-on work experience in Robotics or Control systems
  • BSc degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fields
  • Broad exposure across the robotics stack (mechanical, electrical, and software) with a focus on how the systems integrate.
  • Python experience (Intermediate level)
  • Ability to work in a fast pace and high pressure environment
  • Passion for Industrial Robotics
  • Honest, detail-oriented, careful, high responsibility, teamwork personality
  • US Citizen, Green Card holder, or holder of a valid work authorization in the USA (our company is currently unable to support any application for work-related visa)

Preferred

  • Hands-on work experience in Robotics or Control systems
  • Project management experience
  • Intermediate level or above of CAD, electrical design, or control system design
  • Proficiency in Python and C++ programming
  • Experience with software development process
  • Familiarity with Linux software development and toolchain (e.g. git)
  • Knowledge of Robotics (kinematics, calibration, motion planning)
  • Knowledge of Computer Vision and AI (deep learning framework and tools)
