Job description

Your Tasks:
  • Work on complex, adhesive and equipment-related projects with a focus on the semiconductor/ optics/ micro electronics market
  • Take responsibility for the development of customer-specific solutions through to full process integration
  • Identify and implement the right technical solutions for our customers in close collaboration with the Sales Engineering team
  • Support and manage DELO Equipment Activities, including UV LED lamps and dispensing systems
  • Drive our growth through excellent technical consultation of customers across North America, working hand-in-hand with Sales Engineers
  • Systematically identify new technologies in cooperation with Sales and Product Management, and implement them into customers' production processes
  • Conduct feasibility studies, derive appropriate follow-up measures, and present results to internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain close communication with various DELO teams worldwide
  • Provide comprehensive technical support to sales engineers - on-site, virtually, or by phone

Your Skills:
  • You are located in or willing to relocate to the Greater Boston Area (MA)
  • Degree in Engineering, e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Material Engineering, Automation, Electrical Engineering , or a related technical field (Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree welcome)
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical environment - preferably as an Application Engineer in the adhesive or semiconductor/ optics/ micro electronics sector
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems independently and systematically
  • Prior expertise in adhesives is not required - you will receive intensive and hands-on training at our headquarters in Germany
  • Willingness to travel as required (domestically and internationally)
