Job Description
Join Our Team at Senior Metal Bellows!
Are you a relationship-driven professional who loves delivering results for customers? Senior Metal Bellows is looking for an Account Manager to own key customer relationships and drive revenue growth in our dynamic technical manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
In this role, you'll be the go-to person for our core customers, ensuring their technical and commercial needs are met while uncovering new opportunities to add value. You'll work hand-in-hand with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Leadership to deliver custom-engineered solutions and guide accounts through every stage-from initial inquiry to final delivery.
What You'll Do
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, managing all customer-related activities to meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly forecasts while maintaining accurate business forecasts for both repeat and new development programs.
  • Monitor industry trends, market developments, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and stay ahead of the curve.
  • Partner with the Business Development Team to identify and capture new business opportunities with existing and new customers across new and existing markets and applications.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to generate timely, accurate quotations and proposals that reflect customer requirements and our capabilities.
  • Develop detailed pricing proposals and work with Engineering, Business Development, and Sales Leadership to finalize pricing and terms that align with company objectives.
  • Coordinate with Engineering to shepherd "new product" opportunities from inquiry through production to on-time delivery for assigned accounts.
  • Manage quote and order activities, negotiate pricing and terms for existing business as needed, and ensure all orders are booked according to quoted terms and conditions of sale.
  • Work with the Contracts Specialist to maintain visibility of contract validity and proactively engage stakeholders-both internally and externally-to support timely completion of negotiations, including annual escalations, pricing reviews, and multi-year agreements.
  • Partner with Customer Service to support overall customer requirements, manage information flow and documentation between customers and internal departments, and serve as the liaison communicating customer needs to relevant business functions.
  • Coordinate Contract Review (CR) and Customer Documentation Revision Review (CDRR) processes to keep everything on track.
  • Ensure compliance with all export licensing and EAR/ITAR regulations.
  • Travel to customer facilities as needed to strengthen relationships, explore new business opportunities, and review the status of existing business.

Qualifications
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a similar role
  • Solid computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Sharp analytical and organizational abilities with an eye for detail
  • Top-notch verbal and written communication skills that make complex ideas crystal clear
  • Comfort working across all levels-from individual contributors to C-suite executives and everyone in between, including external partners
  • Hiring Range: $ 85,000 annual to $100,000 annually + discretionary bonus
  • Final rate will be determined by relevant experience, skills, and qualifications
