Job description


As a Semiconductor Engineer I here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of semiconductor devices and integrated circuits that support our innovative product portfolio. This role offers an exciting opportunity to grow your technical expertise and work alongside experienced engineers in a dynamic environment focused on advancing semiconductor technology.
In this role, you will impact the development and delivery of high-quality semiconductor products that meet performance and reliability standards, supporting Honeywell Aerospace's commitment to innovation and excellence in technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requirements capture, architecture, design, implementation, verification, and system integration
  • Working with a team of engineers through the development of an ASIC/FPGA
  • Designing for compliance with DO-254
  • Preparing lifecycle documentation, including: planning documents, requirements documents, design documents, traceability data, and verification procedures
  • Supporting the execution of on-target testing and lab integration

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in technical disciplines such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience with ASIC/FPGA design languages, such as VHDL, Verilog, and/or SystemVerilog
  • Oral and written communication skills

WE VALUE
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Basic Electrical Engineering troubleshooting capability
  • Experience in the use of HDL (VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog)
  • Experience in the use of ASIC/FPGA simulation tools, synthesis tools, and build tools
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tool suite
  • Experience with UNIX or Linux Operating Systems is preferred
  • Ability to work with teams of engineers
  • Internship experience in a past ASIC/FPGA role is preferred, or previous work or school experience on an ASIC/FPGA project
  • Self-motivated individuals are preferred
