What is a semi?

The term 'Semi' often refers to jobs related to the semiconductor industry, which involves the design, manufacture, and testing of semiconductor devices like microchips and integrated circuits. These jobs can range from engineering and technical roles to positions in manufacturing, quality assurance, and research and development. The semiconductor industry is crucial for the production of electronics used in computers, smartphones, vehicles, and many other devices. Working in 'Semi' jobs typically requires specialized knowledge in electronics, materials science, or related fields, and the roles are often found in technology companies and manufacturing facilities.

What skills and qualifications are needed to thrive as a semi truck driver?

To thrive as a Semi Truck Driver, you need a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL), a strong understanding of road safety regulations, and experience with long-haul driving. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems, electronic logging devices (ELDs), and freight management tools is essential.
