Job description

About Suno

We're building the world's first creative entertainment platform, where the entire world can feel the joy and fulfillment of making music. Music is for everyone: Our users include everyone from grandmothers creating songs for their loved ones, to Grammy winners using Suno Studio, our power tool, to make the most popular hits in the world.

Building the future of entertainment requires ambition. The pace is fast, the problems are hard, and the work demands ownership and intensity. For the right people, it’s incredibly rewarding: a chance to shape a new medium, work with a small team that cares deeply about quality, make music, drink too much coffee, and build something that millions of people use to express themselves in ways that were never before possible.

Suno is the fastest growing consumer entertainment company and the leader in AI music. We are backed by leading investors including Bond Capital, Menlo Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, IVP, Forerunner, Union Square Ventures, Alkeon, Quiet, Matrix Partners, Schroders Capital and, NVentures (venture arm of NVIDIA).

About the Role

Suno's paid search program spans every international market we operate in, and it needs someone who can bring both rigor and range to its management. As our SEM Manager, you'll own paid search acquisition strategy, signaling, and testing across Google, Bing, and Apple Search Ads while joining our Growth Marketing team at a time when speed and exploration is key. You'll work closely with our SEM Lead, Paid Social, Data Science, Finance, and Creative teams to scale enterprise-level accounts with the depth of nuance and structure it requires.

This role is designed for someone with high accountability, desire for ownership, and has proven effectiveness at-scale. You’ve managed +$20M annual budgets with a deep comfort in digging through large data sets, managing bid/budgets globally, creative testing, and executing for alpha via recurring optimizations. You are responsible for identifying growth opportunities and driving efficiency across one of Suno’s key acquisition channels.

Here’s a song we made about it:

What You'll Do
  • Manage SEM suite: Scope spans a full array of networks from Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Apple Search Ads, and beyond. Manage budgets, bids, and audience strategy/structure to consistently drive towards our KPI targets.

  • Own Channel Performance Globally: Optimize campaigns driving new users, subscriptions, and team acquisition KPIs across web and app surfaces in multiple geographic markets with nuance and attention.

  • Drive KPIs using the full scope of campaign types: Meet users where they are and optimize funnel from first impression to subscription. Understand audience overlap and cross-channel pollination to maximize impact not just of your directly managed campaigns, but the overall effectiveness of a market or initiative.

  • Own analysis and reporting: Proactively dig into campaign performance and anomalies to diagnose trends and deliver actionable insights to the growth team.

  • Build your own tools: Leverage AI, internal tools, and data pipelines to remove blockers in your day-to-day. When something is broken or a desired dashboard doesn’t exist, try building the functionality yourself first rather than waiting for sprint backlogs from other teams.

  • Collaborate Cross-functionally: Share copy/keyword insights back and forth with the Creative and Lifecycle teams. Solve data gaps with the Engineering team. Answer the impregnable questions with the Data science team.

  • Own Channel partner relationship: own the relationship with channel reps, including beta access, product roadmap input, billing, and spend reconciliation.

  • Develop Testing Roadmap: Leverage industry, partner, and personal knowledge to identify the areas of deficiency or untapped potential. Always aware of the latest platform betas and which are useful/irrelevant. Not afraid of learning phases or testing entirely new directions in campaign structure.

What You'll Need
  • 4+ years of experience in SEM / paid search.

  • Deep platform expertise and understanding of conversion tracking, attribution, and cross-channel overlap.

  • Experience managing large media budgets, with examples to share.

  • Background in highly competitive industries.

  • International campaign management experience - specifically in non-english markets.

  • Experience with UAC dynamics/nuance with understanding of MMPs for attribution modeling/tracking.

  • Hands-on expertise with Bulk & Offline Editors for large-scale account management.

  • Track record across reporting, bid management, and test planning.

  • Comfort operating with goal ambiguity, and the ability to explain SEM auction and trend nuance clearly and concisely to other teams.

  • Strong cross-functional collaborator, especially with Data and Engineering partners.

  • A collaborative instinct where you lean on teammates for context and support rather than guessing.

  • Comfort using Claude (including Claude Code) or similar AI tools to speed up and sharpen day-to-day work.

  • Composure when working through complex datasets or ambiguous problems.

  • Nice to have: High proficiency in Excel; SQL is a plus.

Additional Notes

Applicants must be eligible to work in the US, and willing to work 5 days per week in our NYC office.

Perks & Benefits for Full-Time Employees
  • Company Equity Package

  • 401(k) with 3% Employer Match & Roth 401(k)

  • Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance (PPO w/ HSA & FSA options)

  • 11 Paid Holidays + Unlimited PTO & Sick Time

  • 16 Weeks of Paid Parental Leave

  • Creative Education Stipend

  • Generous Commuter Allowance

  • In-Office Lunch (5 days per week)
