Job description

We are looking for a Wildlife Removal Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for humanely trapping and relocating wild birds from commercial properties. This position requires some knowledge of animal behavior, the ability to identify and assess potential access points, and the ability to safely and efficiently remove wildlife from the premises. The ideal candidate will also have excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with on-site management.

The position is for an independent contractor; you will be self-employed. Taxes and travel expenses will be your responsibility. This is an ON-CALL position with a high volume of incoming jobs, particularly in the Spring and Winter months. You must have a dependable vehicle. You must be willing to travel up to 7 hours from home and are required to be on site for assigned jobs within 48 hours of receiving them.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and evaluate properties for interior wildlife (specifically birds).
  • Identify and remove wildlife from commercial properties by utilizing a specific method.
  • Set traps to capture wild birds.
  • Perform interior and exterior inspections of the facilities.
  • Educate client on how to secure the premises to mitigate bird entry.
  • Maintain records of all wildlife removal activities.
