Mission amp; Purpose
As a FOH (Front-of-House) retail associate at townies, you’re the first impression of our brand. You play a dual role in retail and food service by assisting customers, maintaining the store’s appearance, and supporting kitchen operations during busy hours. Your friendliness, attention to detail, and sense of pride in your workspace directly impact the guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service amp; Food Ordering

  • Greet all customers and guide them through the pull-tab menu ordering system

  • Answer questions regarding menu items, ingredients, and retail products

  • Ring up food and retail purchases using a unified POS system

  • Call out orders when completed and assist with packaging when needed

Retail amp; Store Appearance

  • Restock convenience items, bakery goods, and local crafts from backstock

  • Maintain organized and attractive product displays

  • Monitor product freshness and alert kitchen or manager when low

  • Receive deliveries and organize retail storage areas

  • Assist with setting up seasonal displays or promotional setups

Cleanliness amp; Store Maintenance

  • Buss and wipe tables between guests

  • Perform regular cleaning tasks: sweeping, surface cleaning, and restocking restrooms

  • Help ensure restrooms, entryways, and self-serve areas remain clean and supplied

  • Support team with end-of-day cleaning procedures and closing checklists

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or GED preferred

  • Experience: Customer service, food service, or retail experience is helpful but not required

  • Skills: Food Handler Manager Certification, strong interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, POS system familiarity, and basic math
