Speak Up Speech Therapy is a therapist-owned pediatric private practice that believes exceptional care begins with exceptional clinicians. We are seeking a compassionate, creative Occupational Therapist to help us expand our services and build an outstanding pediatric OT program.

Rather than inheriting a clinic filled with equipment someone else selected, you’ll have the opportunity to recommend the therapy tools, sensory equipment, assessments, and materials that best support your clinical style and your clients’ needs.

Responsibilities

· Evaluate and treat pediatric clients from birth through adolescence.

· Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals using evidence-based practice and your clinical expertise.

· Provide engaging, child-centered therapy sessions that reflect your professional judgment and treatment style.

· Collaborate with speech-language pathologists to provide coordinated, family-centered care.

· Educate caregivers on strategies for home carryover.

· Complete timely documentation using our electronic medical record.

· Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas that strengthen our occupational therapy program.

· Recommend therapy materials, assessments, and equipment that will enhance patient care and support the growth of our clinic.

Qualifications

· Current Oregon Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility for licensure)

· NBCOT certification

· Pediatric experience preferred (fieldwork or employment)

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills

· Passion for working with children and families

· Self-motivated clinician who enjoys problem-solving and helping build new programs

Preferred Experience

· Sensory processing and sensory integration

· Fine motor and visual motor development

· Executive functioning

· Emotional regulation

· Feeding therapy (preferred but not required)

· Experience with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, developmental delays, and other pediatric diagnoses
