Job description

Overview

Chief Operating Officer- Insurance Carrier opening based in Georgia, Tampa or Chicago. Reporting directly to the President. The COO will serve as a key executive leader responsible for improving and modernizing operational performance, driving business growth and building scalable infrastructure to help position the company as a leading specialty P&C Insurance platform. (DC13110)

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the company operational strategy; improve efficiency and provide operational support across the company platform including but not limited to program management, underwriting, claims, legal, reporting and compliance.
  • Lead process improvements, initiatives and implement controls and systems; use data analytics and performance metrics to drive decision making and operational excellence.
  • Partner with business leaders; ensure data privacy; help build a strong innovative culture.
Qualifications
  • The company is seeking a Senior Executive with extensive Chief Operating experience and ideally program insurance experience; strong strategic planning and business operation experience.
  • Proven ability to lead change and influence at all levels; visionary with high business acumen and industry experience.
  • Excellent communication and board presentation skills; strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
