Duties
Help

• Conducts instructor-led training, webinars, and blended learning sessions in accordance with agency instructional standards.
• Develops detailed lesson plans, instructional aids, and course materials in alignment with standardized training requirements.
• Administers pre-tests, quizzes, and post-assessments to evaluate knowledge acquisition.
• Maintains accurate records of student attendance, participation, and test results in accordance with agency requirements.
• Collaborates with supervisors, training managers, and other stakeholders to identify training needs and scheduling requirements.

• This position has been designated "Mission Essential". In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of up to 5% of the time.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that demonstrates (1) Delivering training modules by adapting lesson plans to fit both virtual and physical classroom environments; (2) Recommending curriculum improvements by evaluating student performance outcomes and training feedback; (3) Coordinating classroom resources by managing the operational details for large-scale training events; and (4) Resolving EHR system issues by troubleshooting diagnostic errors and providing technical support to users.. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).

Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D. [remove LL.B or J.D., if unrelated] with a major study in education or a subject area related to the position to be filled, such as, [insert applicable field(s) of study].

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
