Position Title: Guidewire QA Lead
Location: Warren, NJ
Job Type: 6 months C2H
Position type: W2 contract. 
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Guidewire QA Lead to oversee quality assurance activities for our Guidewire insurance platform implementations. The ideal candidate will lead test planning, execution, and validation efforts to ensure the delivery of high-quality Guidewire solutions that meet business requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the QA testing lifecycle for Guidewire Insurance Suite (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, etc.).
  • Develop, review, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts tailored to Guidewire applications.
  • Design and implement automated testing frameworks and scripts for regression, functional, and performance testing.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and product managers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
  • Manage and coordinate multiple testing efforts, including manual and automated testing activities.
  • Identify, document, and track defects; work closely with development teams to facilitate issue resolution.
  • Ensure adherence to testing standards, best practices, and quality metrics.
  • Lead test team activities, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance feedback.
  • Prepare test status reports and dashboards for stakeholder updates.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies specific to Guidewire applications.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in QA testing within Guidewire Insurance Suite environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Guidewire products, architecture, and configuration.
  • Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, SmartBear, or Guidewire's own testing frameworks.
  • Proficiency in scripting/languages like Java, Python, or Groovy.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Leadership capability to manage and motivate a QA testing team.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Guidewire Certification(s) (e.g., Guidewire Certified Insurance Suite Tester)
  • ISTQB Certification
