Job Summary:
Ampa is a pioneering neurotechnology startup developing brain stimulation technology to help eradicate depression. They are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to lead and scale test automation for their clinical software platform, ensuring the safety and stability of medical devices and applications.
Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain end-to-end test suites for mobile and web apps using tools like Appium, Selenium, or Detox
• Implement automated regression tests that run pre-release and post-deploy
• Ensure tests are seamlessly integrated into GitHub Actions or Bitrise pipelines
• Define test coverage goals, write test plans, and ensure traceability to requirements
• Validate hardware/software integration in real-world tablet + stimulator test environments
• Work closely with engineers and product managers to clarify expected behavior and catch issues early
• Occasionally perform targeted manual testing to validate edge cases or hard-to-automate flows
Qualifications:
Required:
• 3–5+ years in QA automation with a strong focus on mobile (preferably Android) and web applications
