Colliers Site Selection is a highly analytical and client‑focused team in corporate real estate advisory. The Site Selection Consultant leads corporate location strategy and economic development consulting engagements from kickoff through final recommendation, delivering executive‑level analyses and independent project management.

Responsibilities
  • Lead end‑to‑end management of corporate site selection and economic incentives consulting projects, including schedule, budget, and quality of client deliverables.
  • Develop and direct comprehensive site and community evaluations, synthesizing labor market data, infrastructure assessments, incentive landscapes, and operational cost comparisons into clear, decision‑ready recommendations.
  • Organize, direct, and coordinate internal and external project resources so all workstreams remain aligned with client priorities and timelines.
  • Collaborate with practice leadership and teammates to shape project strategy, prioritize key decision drivers, and anticipate client needs across the full lifecycle.
  • Lead client‑facing meetings and presentations with executive‑level polish and confidence.
  • Execute practice initiatives including site identification and evaluation, economic incentives identification, estimation, analysis and negotiations, financial modeling, cost‑benefit analysis, and internal process development.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to deepen existing client relationships and develop new corporate and economic development consulting mandates.
  • Maintain strong relationships with Colliers brokers to establish site selection and economic incentives consulting opportunities across the organization.
  • Participate in conversations with prospective clients and draft compelling engagement proposals and prospect pricing.

  • Represent Colliers at industry events, conferences, and speaking engagements as required.
  • Contribute to thought‑leadership platforms through blog posts, white papers, and industry articles.
  • Engage with commercial real estate brokers, economic development organizations, utilities, and partner organizations through visits, presentations, and collaborative events.
  • Attend national familiarization tours and industry consultant events to stay current on market conditions and community capabilities.
  • Cultivate a growing network of brokers and economic developer relationships across target markets and geographies.
  • Extend Colliers’ brand presence through professional social media engagement and active industry participation.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in site selection, incentives, economic development, real estate advisory, or strategic consulting.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Strong command of project management methodology, real estate strategy, economic development principles, and financial analysis.
  • Exceptional written communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead multiple corporate projects simultaneously and manage cross‑functional teams.
  • Outstanding organizational skills with a track record of delivering on schedule and within budget.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite; GIS knowledge preferred but not required.
  • Ability to travel as required (typically up to 25% but occasionally up to 50%).
