Your Role: Sr. Director, Marketing - RX Parasiticides

As a key leader within the marketing team, you will lead, develop, and drive all aspects of our brands for the RX Parasiticides category. In this role, you will be responsible for advancing marketing capabilities, leading high-performing teams, and advocating for strategic marketing efforts to drive business growth.

Your Responsibilities:

Business Ownership:

  • Enables delivery of Elanco P&L for Pet Health and manages budget for RX PARASITICIDES portfolio.
  • Identify and track health and performance KPI for assigned portfolio.
  • Ensures commercial readiness by overseeing development and execution of plans with brand teams within assigned areas.
  • Identifies and steers growth initiatives for assigned portfolio.
  • Ensures accuracy of forecast.

Strategy Development:

  • Leads development of strategic plan for assigned portfolio.
  • Develops portfolio strategy for assigned group of products, ensuring maximization of brand potential including lifecycle management.
  • Leads development of brand plans for assigned group of products.
  • Works collaboratively with Pet Health Innovation (US and Global) and R&D to identify areas for exponential expansion.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit - creativity to identify opportunities when others may not see them and a willingness to "roll up your sleeves" to execute.

Brand Messaging and Activation:

  • Defines and updates positioning, where appropriate in collaboration with key cross-functional partners.
  • Works collaboratively with cross functional partners, including vet sales Retail, Digital Transformation and lead agency/ies to develop integrated marketing campaigns for focus and select defend brands.

Insights and Analytics:

  • Insights expertise-understands what research to do and works with Insights COE to action research projects.
  • Excels in reading, interpreting, and analyzing research and other reports and making strategic and tactical recommendations based on this data.

Managerial:

  • Leverage diversity of team to strengthen performance and results.
  • Drives Team engagement to maximize business results.
  • Provide career growth opportunities while also delivering constant feedback along with the tools needed to achieve long term professional growth.

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent level of experience
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing or business management
  • Top Skills: Strategic brand planning and P&L management
