The responsibilities of the Licensed Mental Health Therapist include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance abuse histories and mental health conditions.
• Designing individualized treatment plans that specifically address the intersection of addiction and mental health, integrating evidence-based practices.
• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, employing proven methodologies tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure all aspects of a patient’s care are effectively coordinated.
• Engaging with clients’ families to educate and involve them in the recovery process, enhancing the support network available to each client.
• Maintaining meticulous records in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring compliance with all regulations.

This role focuses on a diverse patient population, primarily consisting of individuals struggling with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders. To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A valid license as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD.
• A bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field; preference will be given to candidates with a master’s or doctoral degree.
