Security Guard

America's Auto Auction Minnesota is hiring for a part time overnight Security Guard!

The Security Guard oversees site security operations to protect employees, customers, assets, and facilities while supporting a safe and controlled environment during auction operations. This role manages security coverage, policies, and incident response protocols across auction property, including vehicle lots, buildings, and sale-day operations.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Ensures controlled entry and exit procedures for employees, dealers, vendors, and visitors, including badge and gate processes as applicable.
  • Monitors site conditions and coordinates patrols to prevent theft, vandalism, unauthorized access, and safety/security incidents.
  • Investigates security incidents, documents findings, and partners with leadership to implement corrective and preventative measures.
  • Coordinates with local law enforcement, emergency responders, and third-party security vendors as needed.
  • Maintains security documentation, logs, reports, and evidence procedures in alignment with company standards.
  • Supports sale-day security planning, including crowd flow, dealer traffic coordination, and high-activity lane/lot coverage.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
