Position Overview
Citadel Security USA is hiring a reliable Full-Time Unarmed Security Officer to provide front-desk security coverage in American Fork. This position is centered on monitoring CCTV systems, screening employees and guests, and maintaining careful control of access to the facility.
The officer assigned to this post will spend a significant portion of the shift at a designated desk, so strong attention to detail and the ability to stay focused on monitoring equipment are essential. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, and comfortable following detailed procedures without needing constant supervision.
Job Duties and Position-Specific Information
  • Monitor CCTV cameras throughout the assigned shift and remain attentive to activity shown on the screens.
  • Operate and monitor the designated metal detector as employees and guests enter and leave the facility.
  • Pay close attention to metal detector readings and respond according to established procedures when an alert or concern occurs.
  • Observe individuals entering and exiting the facility and maintain awareness of unusual or unauthorized activity.
  • Follow established screening and access-control procedures consistently for all applicable personnel and visitors.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous presence while interacting with employees, guests, and other individuals.
  • Follow the post orders provided by the client and Citadel Security USA without unnecessary deviation.
  • Report unusual activity, security concerns, equipment issues, or other noteworthy incidents through the appropriate channels.
  • Complete required logs, reports, and other documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean, attentive, and professional appearance while assigned to the desk.
  • Remain at the assigned post and stay engaged with security responsibilities throughout the scheduled shift.
