By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century's most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril's family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
ABOUT THE TEAM
The Security Operations Team consists of Security Infrastructure, Guard Force Operations, and Crisis Management. Our mission is to safeguard Anduril's people, assets, and operations through integrated security solutions that encompass proactive risk management, crisis preparedness, actionable threat intelligence, thorough investigations, executive protection, and 24/7 global monitoring. We are committed to anticipating and mitigating risks, responding immediately to incidents, and fostering a resilient security culture that enables Anduril to innovate and operate confidently in a dynamic global environment.
ABOUT THE JOB
As Anduril continues to grow and tackle complex government and defense missions, we are seeking a strategic and experienced Manager for Security Education & Exercises. This pivotal role is responsible for building a robust security culture by designing, developing, and leading our comprehensive security education and training programs.
You will be the primary driver for creating educational content that spans the full spectrum of security. This includes developing a company-wide security education program with modules on diverse topics for all employees, as well as creating specialized training for our response teams. Concurrently, your expertise will be critical in building and facilitating a robust exercise program, including small and large-scale tabletop exercises for Emergency Response Teams (ERTs), the Crisis Management Team (CMT), and Anduril's Senior Leadership. This is a hands-on leadership role for an expert in adult learning and immersive exercise design, aimed at strengthening our overall security posture and preparing Anduril for any crisis.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Manage Enterprise Security Education: Design, build, and own a comprehensive, company-wide security education curriculum. Create engaging training content, e-learning modules, and guides on a wide range of subjects-including crisis management, physical security, travel safety, and other corporate security topics-for the entire Anduril employee population.
  • Design and Facilitate Crisis Exercises: Manage the end-to-end design, development, and facilitation of a multi-tiered crisis exercise program. This includes running small-scale topical drills and large-scale, immersive tabletop exercises for specialized audiences, including Emergency Response Teams, the Crisis Management Team, and Senior Leadership.
  • Drive Strategic Training Programs: Own the security training lifecycle, from needs analysis and curriculum development to delivery and evaluation. Develop a strategic roadmap for security training that addresses key risks and ensures all programs align with our Security Operations framework and enterprise objectives.
  • Partner Cross-Functionally: Collaborate with key stakeholders including Facilities, EHS, Legal, HR, and other departments to ensure training content and exercise scenarios are relevant, realistic, and fully integrated with departmental plans and organizational goals.
  • Champion Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing training effectiveness and exercise outcomes, authoring After Action Reports (AARs), and translating lessons learned into actionable updates for our plans, procedures, and training programs.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert: Act as a key advisor on security education, training methodologies, and exercise best practices. Provide subject matter expertise during real-world incident responses to support team readiness and effective decision-making.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Adult Education, Corporate Training, Emergency Management, Homeland Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in a combination of corporate training/education, emergency preparedness, and crisis management.
  • Proven track record of developing engaging enterprise-wide educational content, training modules, and curriculum from the ground up for a corporate environment.
  • Demonstrated, hands-on experience designing and facilitating a wide range of tabletop exercises (TTXs) for diverse audiences, including senior and executive leadership teams.
  • Exceptional facilitation, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex topics clearly and effectively to any audience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen ability to develop realistic and challenging exercise scenarios.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain relevant security clearances.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Deep experience with adult learning theories and instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE).
  • Experience in a high-growth technology or defense-industrial-base company.
  • Proficiency with e-learning authoring platforms, crisis management software, and exercise simulation tools.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) or Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP).
