Job description

JOB SUMMARY:

The Fire and Low Voltage Service Sales Representative is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and providing exceptional customer service in the Fire and Life Safety industry. The role involves the sales and marketing of fire alarm systems, low voltage systems, and associated services. The representative will be required to create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and meet company objectives.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

None.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Identifies and establishes contact with potential customers in the Fire and Low Voltage industry.
  • Develops and executes sales strategies to meet or exceed assigned sales targets.
  • Presents and demonstrates company products and services to potential clients.
  • Prepares and submits quotes and proposals to prospective customers.
  • Maintains detailed knowledge of the company's products and services.
  • Attends industry events, trade shows, and seminars to generate new leads.
  • Manages and maintains relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborates with the technical team to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Keep abreast with latest developments in fire safety, low voltage services, and market trends.
  • Produces ideas for promotional events or activities and assists with organizing them efficiently.
  • Provides recommendations to strategically enhance service sales performance and business opportunities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree is sales and marketing or related field preferred.

Valid driver license and a clean driving record.


EXPERIENCE:

Minimum three years of experience in a similar sales role within the Fire and Life Safety industry or Low Voltage sector.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
