Job description

We provide turnkey solutions for industrial and commercial clients specializing in Data Infrastructure, Security Systems (Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion Detection), Electrical Services, and Design-Build Solutions.

As we continue to expand across the United States, we are looking for a motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead Data Infrastructure and Security projects from award through closeout while ensuring exceptional client satisfaction, operational excellence, and financial success.

Duties & Responsibilities

Project Management:

  • Plan, organize, and manage Data Infrastructure and Security projects from initiation through completion.

  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to client requirements.

  • Develop project schedules, resource plans, budgets, and timelines.

  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to clients and senior management.

  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to avoid delays and cost overruns.

  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and internal teams throughout project execution.

  • Manage project documentation, change orders, RFIs, submittals, closeout documents, and reporting requirements.

  • Assist with customer invoicing and ensure accurate and timely billing.

  • Oversee project financials, forecasting, labor productivity, and budget performance.

Data Infrastructure Responsibilities:

  • Manage structured cabling, fiber optic, network infrastructure, and low-voltage communication projects.

  • Ensure compliance with TIA/EIA, BICSI, ANSI, NEC, and customer-specific standards.

  • Coordinate installation, testing, certification, and turnover of data infrastructure systems.

  • Support project estimating, procurement, and material management activities.

Security Systems Responsibilities:

  • Manage installation and implementation of Access Control, CCTV, Video Management Systems, Intrusion Detection, and related security technologies.

  • Coordinate system integration activities with customers, manufacturers, and commissioning teams.

  • Ensure security systems are installed, tested, programmed, and commissioned according to project specifications.

  • Collaborate with manufacturers and technology partners to ensure proper deployment and functionality of security solutions.

  • Support troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues throughout project execution.

Leadership & Team Development:

  • Provide leadership and direction to field supervisors, foremen, technicians, and subcontractors.

  • Conduct regular project meetings and workforce planning sessions.

  • Complete performance management activities including coaching, performance reviews, development plans, and disciplinary actions when necessary.

  • Serve as a technical and operational resource for project teams.

  • Promote and enforce company safety standards and best practices.

Client Relations:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, utilities, permitting agencies, and project stakeholders.

  • Represent company professionally throughout all phases of project execution.

  • Support business development efforts through customer engagement and project success.

Qualifications Required:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, Superintendent, or similar leadership role in Data Infrastructure, Security Systems, Low Voltage, or Construction environments.

  • Strong experience managing structured cabling, fiber optic, low-voltage, and/or electronic security projects.

  • Experience with project budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, and financial management.

  • Experience coordinating field labor, subcontractors, vendors, and material procurement.

  • Strong understanding of project scheduling, project controls, and construction documentation.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Willingness to travel throughout the continental United States as needed.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or related field.

  • Experience with Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion Detection, and integrated security platforms.

  • Experience with structured cabling, fiber optics, and network infrastructure projects.

  • Experience bidding public and private projects.

  • OSHA 30 Certification.

  • Knowledge of ANSI, TIA, EIA, BICSI, NEC, and security industry standards.

  • Industry certifications such as BICSI, LenelS2, Genetec, Honeywell, Avigilon, Hanwha, or equivalent are a plus.
