We're looking for a driven, experienced Lead Fire and Security Technician who's ready to elevate their career. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical professional who enjoys leading by example-someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, mentors others, and delivers top-tier customer experiences.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead fire and installation projects from start to finish, ensuring quality work is delivered on time and meets SEi's high standards
  • Act as the on-site point of contact for project managers, customers, and installation teams
  • Mentor and support junior technicians, helping develop technical skills and best practices
  • Review job sites, read and interpret blueprints and schematics, and determine project requirements
  • Install, wire, program, and configure commercial security systems (burglary, access control, and IP video)
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues to ensure systems perform flawlessly
  • Ensure compliance with NEC standards, manufacturer specifications, and local codes
  • Maintain clean, professional job sites and complete accurate documentation
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Service Teams for smooth project handoffs
  • Assist with inventory tracking, equipment care, and company vehicle upkeep
  • Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and leadership training
