What is it like to work in Subcontract Administration ?



In this role you will have the following daily key responsibilities:


This position holds procurement management and delegation responsibility for all applicable supplier agreements and contracts within the established authority.
You will perform subcontract management duties in support of the program, including:
Responsible for the overall management of supplier performance including cost, schedule, and technical through leadership and interaction with a cross-functional team.
Interface with suppliers as the focal point between the subcontractor/supplier program management team, and end customer, effectively communicating supplier health to all levels of management
Help develop subcontract specifications, statements of work and negotiate requirements and scope.
Initiate and manage the acquisition process from pre-solicitation (including researching and evaluating procurement sources), through the proposal process and PO placement, through to management of supplier performance and closeout.
Research and evaluate procurement sources and qualification


This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility one of the Coolest places to work: Denver, Colorado , and be expected to work in the office.
