Employment Opportunity:

On Call / Part Time Officers for OR and WA.

Once on board, security personnel deliver essential customer service, exercise knowledge in problem solving, and use their exceptional service skills. Requirements:

  • Must have an active Oregon or Washington state security license/certificate.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and excellent judgement.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills and strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient in interacting, communicating, and working with people.
  • Be an ambassador for the client and greet employees, guests, and customers.
  • Effective in a premium hospitality setting.
  • Availability and flexibility to work any day, including weekends and holidays, and any work shift based on the operational needs of the client.
  • Patrol in all areas of the buildings (door checks/stairwells) and exterior (parking garages/building perimeters).
  • Respond to incidents on-site, including moving along/trespassing transients.
  • Fire extinguisher/Safety Equipment Inspections.
  • Respond to emergencies.
  • Respond to alarms.
  • Emergency response (First responder – Medical response).
  • Able to stand and walk for 8 hours.
  • Must be able to work independently or with a partner.
  • Capable of lifting and carrying reasonable weight.

Preferred:

  • Knowledgeable in the key aspects of private security including, but not limited to: Handling security tasks, responding to emergencies, preparing, and reviewing incident reports, reviewing CCTV footage, monitoring Intrusion Detection System, alarms, access controls, fire alarms, elevators alarms.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn security software applications.
  • Experience with guard touring systems (RFID, Tours, Tasks, Reports, notifications).
  • Also certified in Oregon as an unarmed security professional with DPSST.


Shifts Available: A scheduling app is used for all on call officers who assign their own shifts to their schedules, which is a first come first serve situation.

Pay Available: $22 to $24 an hour.
